Keiko Sakakibara from Japan was our club’s first ever Rotary Youth Exchange student. Keiko was a delightful ambassador for her country as she spent a year being hosted by Rotary families in Toowoomba.

Caroline Bol was sponsored by our club to spend a year away in Canada. These girls were the first of a long line of international exchanges that our club has supported.

This was the first year that our club appointed a Youth Services Director to the club board, to foster our Rotaract and Interact Clubs.
