REACH Siem Reap is more than an English school. Its mission is to provide integrated programs for impoverished Cambodian children to become change makers within their community. To prepare them with life-skills to gain fair employment, and to break long standing cycles of poverty within their families.
Post-genocide conflict, the Cambodian economy is growing, but sadly, with it grows the socio-economic gap between the rich and the poor. The families of the children at REACH were living in dire poverty, without access to basic human needs and were surviving hand-to-mouth. Without proper education, the poor are succumbing to exploitative inhumane labour, prostitution, and modern-day slavery.
REACH provides all-rounded aid, which focuses not only on the development of the child’s education, but also in supporting the day-to-day survival of their families.

In 2024, our club sponsored their Health & Nutrition Program, enabling their hard working kitchen team to provide the community with 14,093 school meals and 155 snacks for their kids. Founder, Emily Williamson, returned to our club in March 2025 with Song Sokun, the Head Teacher, to report on progress.

Several of our Rotary Club members plan to join the fourth charity bike ride across the Kingdom of Wonder in 2026. Together we will pedal across this tropical oasis, through rural towns and isolated villages that are untouched by tourism, and sweat it out, all in support of children and families in need.
